Semester calendar
Our online courses follow the IUB Official Academic Calendar: Office of the Registrar: Indiana University Bloomington. Classes could be fully synchronous or a combination of synchronous and asynchronous. None of our language classes are 100% asynchronous. Synchronous classes meet via zoom on specific days and time along with IU students in a classroom.
Course fee information
New, lower tuition rates are now in effect for non-degree students who want to take online foreign language courses. You are not eligible for the lower rate if you are an IU student or located in Bloomington.
Our undergraduate language courses are 4 credit hours and our graduate language courses 3 credits per semester. Find in-state and out-of-state costs here.
